Paver Sealing Cost in Holiday, New Port Richey & Tarpon Springs: Complete 2026 Pricing Guide
Published April 20, 2026 · Krystal Klean Exterior
A real breakdown of what paver sealing costs in west Pasco and north Pinellas: driveways, pool decks, and patios, with the factors that move the price up or down.
If you have been pricing paver sealing in Holiday, New Port Richey, Tarpon Springs, or anywhere else in west Pasco and north Pinellas, you have probably heard a range so wide it is useless. "$300 to $3,000" does not help you budget. Here is an actual breakdown of what paver sealing costs in this area in 2026, organized by the project types we quote most.
The short answer
A typical residential paver sealing project in Holiday and the surrounding cities costs $349 to $1,895. Where you land depends on four things: square footage, paver condition, sealer type, and whether the joints need fresh polymeric sand (they usually do).
Pricing by project type
Driveway, 2-car: $349 to $795
A standard 2-car driveway in Holiday or New Port Richey is roughly 400 to 600 square feet. A full clean, re-sand, and seal typically lands between $349 and $795. That price includes pressure washing, fresh polymeric joint sand, and two coats of premium penetrating sealer.
Pool deck: $695 to $1,895
Pool decks vary widely by size. A typical 600 to 1,000 sqft screened pool deck runs $695 to $1,195. Larger travertine decks (1,200 to 2,000 sqft) can reach $1,495 to $1,895. Travertine costs more because it needs a different sealer than concrete pavers, and screened cages take longer to mask and protect.

Lanai or patio: $449 to $895
Most lanais in Holiday and Tarpon Springs run 200 to 500 sqft and fall in the $449 to $895 range.
Walkway: $249 to $449
Short front walkways start at $249. Longer runs reach $449.
What moves the price up or down
- Square footage. The biggest factor. We price per square foot, with a minimum service charge.
- Paver condition. Heavily stained, weedy, or previously sealed-wrong pavers need more prep.
- Sealer type. Wet-look gloss costs slightly more than natural matte. Stone-safe sealers for travertine cost more than concrete-paver sealers.
- Access. A pool deck inside a screen cage takes more care than an open driveway.
- Repair work. Broken pavers, a failed base, or prior bad sealing that has to be stripped all add cost.
Common things that quietly raise a quote
The estimate climbs when there is extra prep hiding under the dirt. The usual culprits: an old film-forming sealer that is now cloudy or peeling and has to be stripped first, ant hills and weeds rooted deep in the joints, rust bleed from metal furniture, sprinkler mineral staining, and joint sand that has crumbled so far down it has to be vacuumed out before we re-sand. None of this is upsell. It is the difference between sealing a clean, stable surface and sealing over a problem.
Clean, seal, or restore?
A lot of paver quotes sound similar until you look at the condition of the surface. A simple clean-and-seal makes sense when the pavers are stable, the old sealer is not peeling, and the joints still have enough depth to accept new polymeric sand. That is the normal path for most driveways and pool decks.
A cleaning and re-sanding job is the better starting point when the main problem is washed-out joints, weeds, ants, or loose sand. A full paver stripping and restoration job is different. That is for cloudy sealer, peeling gloss, trapped moisture, or a previous coating that failed. Stripping costs more because the old coating has to come off before the new system can bond.
What a good paver sealing quote should include
- Square footage or clear project boundaries. You should know exactly what is included: driveway, walkway, lanai, pool deck, coping, or all of it.
- Prep steps. Cleaning, weed treatment, drying time, joint-sand replacement, and stain treatment should be called out.
- Sealer type. Wet-look, natural matte, travertine-safe, or another material-specific sealer should be named before work starts.
- Weather plan. Tampa Bay rain can ruin a rushed seal. The quote should explain how the crew handles drying and forecast delays.
- Warranty terms. Ask what is covered, what is excluded, and what maintenance keeps the warranty valid.
Budget planning tip
If you have a driveway, front walk, and pool deck, price them together even if you do not do all of them the same week. A combined quote shows where the mobilization, cleaning, sanding, and sealing costs overlap. It also helps you prioritize the surface with the highest risk: usually pool-deck safety, driveway curb appeal, or failed sealer that needs restoration before it gets worse.
What every Krystal Klean paver seal includes
- Deep pressure wash with paver-safe detergents
- Weed and algae treatment
- Full drying period, usually 24 to 48 hours
- Fresh polymeric joint sand, compacted and mist-activated
- Two coats of premium penetrating sealer
- Sealer curing and a final walk-through
- 3-year warranty
A note on Tampa Bay timing
Sealer needs dry pavers and 24 to 48 hours without rain to cure. That makes the October-to-May dry season the easy window for west Pasco and north Pinellas. We still seal through the summer, we just schedule around the afternoon storm pattern so a job does not get rained on while it cures.
For coastal Pinellas and west Pasco homes, salt air and irrigation overspray also matter. If a driveway gets reclaimed-water staining or a pool deck holds shade all day, we build extra cleaning time into the schedule before any sealer goes down. In Hillsborough neighborhoods with newer paver installs, the first seal usually waits until the pavers have cured and the surface has released early efflorescence.
What photos help us price fastest
Text 4 or 5 photos to 727-579-7825: one wide shot of the whole surface, one close-up of the joints, and a shot of any problem spots (peeling old sealer, weeds, rust, broken pavers). With those we can usually quote the same day. For larger or complex projects we come measure in person, free and with no obligation.
