Black streaks are algae. We soft wash it off at low pressure with a manufacturer-style mix, let it dwell, then rinse. No pressure washer on your shingles.

1 · Soft wash. Kills the algae causing the black streaks.
2 · Neutralite by Shingle Hero. Neutralizes cleaning residue after the wash. In our experience, residue left on shingles dries them out.
