Trinity paver sealing is usually a curb-appeal and HOA maintenance job: clean joints, stable polymeric sand, consistent color and a finish that looks sharp without creating a slick surface. Most Trinity paver driveways went in with the homes in the early-to-mid 2000s, so we are now sealing 15-to-25-year-old surfaces with years of wear, not builder-fresh pavers. Communities like Champions Club, Trinity Oaks and Longleaf also run reclaimed-water irrigation, which keeps lawns green but feeds algae along every spray line. HOA sightlines make consistent finish across the whole driveway the thing that matters most.
Paver sealing is not a one-product job. We start by checking the paver material, age, exposed aggregate, porosity, existing sealer, joint condition and drainage. We splash water on the surface and watch how the color changes and how quickly it absorbs. That tells us whether the pavers are still protected, ready for maintenance, or need restoration before another coat goes down.
The sand and sealer plan depends on the surface. On a standard concrete paver project, we remove loose or contaminated joint material and install ASTM C144 joint sand in the color selected for the project. Polymeric sand is a separate option for unusually wide joints or sand-only scopes where it makes sense. For sealing, we match the product and coat system to the paver type, porosity, old coating and finish the homeowner wants. That may be a penetrating system, flood coats, a top coat, or a stone-specific product. We do not force one sealer onto every surface.

Reclaimed-water irrigation in Trinity communities leaves nutrient-fed algae bands where the spray hits the pavers. We pre-treat and clean those lines separately so they do not ghost back through the new sealer.
Trinity driveways mostly date to the original 2000s build-out, so color fade and wear patterns are uneven, darker under the portico, bleached at the apron. We set finish expectations with the homeowner up front and pick sheen accordingly.
Because HOA drive-bys judge the whole front, we detail edges, soldier courses and the apron transition, not just the field of the driveway. Consistency at the curb is the standard here.
Trinity homeowners mostly seal on a two-to-three-year rotation, and spring is the crowded season, after oak pollen, before the June rains. If your driveway is due and an HOA notice is possible, booking in April or May beats competing for post-notice slots in early summer. Fall is the quieter, equally good window.
