Holiday is a shingle town. Of the subdivisions we track here, the large majority are shingle-common, and much of the housing stock is 1960s–70s concrete-block ranch on slab with low-slope asphalt shingle, Beacon Square being the clearest example. Low slope plus five decades of Gulf sun is the exact combination that dries shingles out early. On the western edge toward the Anclote River, newer gated stock like Key Vista sits in the most salt-exposed air in the city, which ages the shingle surface differently again. Same ZIP, two different roofs, and they do not get the same answer.
Florida shingles lose their oils to UV and heat long before the deck or the structure gives out. Once a shingle goes brittle it sheds granules, stops sealing at the tab, and starts failing in wind. Roof rejuvenation puts flexibility back into shingles that still have enough material left to work with.
It is not a roof cleaning and it is not a repair. It will not save a roof that is already leaking, and it will not rebuild a roof that has lost granule across large areas. That is why the inspection decides everything: we check shingle flexibility, granule retention, seal strips, flashing, penetrations, ventilation and the condition of the deck, then give you a written yes or no. A roof that does not qualify gets told so.

We get on the roof and check shingle flexibility, granule retention, seal strips, flashing, penetrations, ventilation and the deck. You get photos and a written answer on whether the roof qualifies. Roofs that need replacement are told that instead.
Algae, lichen and moss are removed by low-pressure soft wash first, so the treatment reaches the shingle instead of sitting on growth. Not every roof needs this step.
Loose tabs, exposed fasteners and flashing problems are corrected first. Treating over a known defect hides it rather than fixing it.
The plant-based treatment is applied across the full shingle field, not spot-treated. Landscaping and surrounding surfaces are protected and rinsed.
You get a written record of what was inspected, what was corrected and what was applied, along with Shingle Hero's five-year transferable warranty.
